Leeds United and Stoke City have been linked with Tottenham Hotspur central defender Cameron Carter-Vickers.

TEAMtalk recently reported of interest in Leeds from Tottenham youngster Carter-Vickers.
It was reported that Spurs were willing to send the USA international central defender out on loan again this summer.
However, according to BBC Sport (Transfer Live blog, 12:15, Thursday, August 8, 2019), the 21-year-old is joining Leeds’s Championship rivals Stoke City for a transfer fee of £6 million.

Missing out
Carter-Vickers is a very good and promising young central defender who has good experience at the Championship level with Sheffield United, Ipswich Town and Swansea City.
The USA international will be a good signing for Stoke, and Leeds are missing out on a player who would have made Marcelo Bielsa’s side better and stronger at the back.
