The young striker has struggled to make a big impact at Leeds United so far.
Leeds United recently loaned out their young striker Jack McKay to Scottish side Airdrieonians until the end of the 2016-17 season.
The 20-year-old is now set to get some regular first-team football under his belt at the Scottish side and will be hoping to prove himself a success north of the border.

Speaking to the official Airdrie website this week McKay confirmed his hopes of promotion with the Scottish side, and to play some regular first-team football:
“I need to get some first team experience. It’s good playing Under 23s football down South, but it’s not the same. In competitive first team football it’s all about getting the three points and the winning mentality that brings.
“Obviously I’m here to help Airdrie achieve their aim, which is promotion to the Championship.”

McKay has so far featured in two games for the Scottish side and is yet to find the back of the net.
He was signed by Leeds last January, along with his twin brother Paul, from Doncaster Rovers but has so far not managed to have any sort of impact at Leeds in terms of first-team football in the past 12 months.
His contract at Elland Road runs until the summer of 2018, so he has plenty of time to win over the Leeds management and potentially make it at the club.
But a pro-active spell on loan at Airdrie could certainly help him go a long way at Leeds United.
