Leeds United are said to be interested in Viv Solomon-Otabor, but Garry Monk’s Birmingham City side want Pablo Hernandez.

Birmingham are interested in Pablo Hernandez, as reported by the Birmingham Mail, with the attacker’s contract at Leeds expires at the end of the campaign.
And if Birmingham land Hernandez on a free transfer then Monk would surely feel like he has scored a big victory over Leeds.

In a strange twist of fate, Solomon-Otabor may actually feel like a move to Leeds would be more appealing if Hernandez was to join Birmingham.
The youngster’s chances of breaking into the Blues’ line up would be significantly reduced if Hernandez was to move to St. Andrews, and that could make a move to Leeds more appealing.

However, losing Solomon-Otabor would be a small price to pay, if Hernandez was to arrive.
Solomon-Otabor may be an exciting talent, but Hernandez has been Leeds’ best player this season.
And Monk would surely be more than willing to lose the young talent, if his departure made room to bring Hernandez in.
