Leeds United striker Patrick Bamford has taken to Instagram to revel in his side’s success in the Championship, and West Ham United defender Ryan Fredericks has congratulated him.
Bamford has posted a simple but effective message on Instagram following the win against Derby County away from home at the Pride Park Stadium in the Championship on Sunday.
Leeds have clinched automatic promotion to the Premier League and have also won the Championship title.
Bamford played with Fredericks at Middlesbrough during the 2014-15 season when the 26-year-old striker was on loan from Chelsea and the 27-year-old right-back was on loan from Tottenham Hotspur.
Fredericks responded: “Congrats bro”
Stats

Fredericks has made 24 starts and two substitute appearances in the Premier League for West Ham this campaign, providing three assists in the process, according to WhoScored.
The Hammers are virtually safe from relegation to the Championship at the end of the season, and perhaps next season they will do better than they did this time around.
