The Swedish striker would not speak about the fixture with Liverpool.
Leeds United striker Marcus Antonsson has revealed the instructions he and his team-mates have received regarding the upcoming EFL Cup quarter-final tie with Liverpool at Anfield from their manager Garry Monk.
Leeds have made their way into the final eight of the competition and will face off with the Premier League title contenders at their famous home ground for a place in the semi-finals.

Leeds boss Monk has been distant when asked about the Liverpool tie by the press ever since the draw was made.
Now the Swedish striker, talking to Barometern in his homeland, has made it clear that he and his team-mates are under strict instruction not to discuss the game themselves:

“We have received clear instructions off our coach Garry Monk not to talk about the game because it’s two (sic, three) league matches first.
“I think he is right. You must focus and take it game by game.”
He did however speak highly of the Leeds fans, who will undoubtedly take a big contingent to Merseyside later this month:

“If we get 10,000 tickets for an away game, it’s 10,000 fans too. Those who go on the Championship matches are hardcore fans. There has been a tremendous atmosphere around several matches.”
Monk has the right attitude regarding the fixture. Leeds are in great form in the Championship at the moment and have to take on Norwich City, Newcastle United and Rotherham United in three tough Championship fixtures before facing Jurgen Klopp’s men.
The time for excitement ahead of the Liverpool clash will come, but for now the focus must be on the present for Leeds United.
