Leeds United have impressed so far this season under the guidance of Garry Monk.
During an interview with the club’s official website, Leeds left-back Charlie Taylor highlighted the importance of following Tuesday night’s win over Reading with another victory at home to Brentford on Saturday.
Garry Monk’s men currently sit in sixth position in the Championship table, one point ahead of seven-placed Sheffield Wednesday, but only two points adrift of third-placed Reading.
And with a very winnable set of fixtures ahead of them over the Christmas period, Leeds have every chance of cementing their position inside the play-off spots, as they head into the new year.

Taylor, 23, sat down for an interview with LeedsUnited.com, and shared how important the Whites’ home games will be to their chances of achieving promotion to the Premier League:
“If we can get six points from our games against Reading and Brentford, it will be massive and really put us in the mix for the Play-Offs. Saturday is another huge and important game again and we will be doing all we can to get three points. You want to win your home games, especially with the support we have. We have never been this high up in the league since I have been here, it is hugely satisfying, long may it continue and hopefully we can keep climbing up the table.”

The Leeds left-back has been heavily linked with a move away from Elland Road since this summer, but has continued to show total commitment to his club, and has started every single one of the Whites’ 21 Championship outings thus far.
A win for Monk’s men tomorrow could see them rise to as high as third in the table, should other results go their way.
