Leeds defender win player of the month award.

Leeds United defender Pontus Jansson saw off competition from teammate Pablo Hernandez to win the Championship PFA Fan player of the month award.
Jansson was nominated after a series of strong performances for the Whites in December, despite lacking his usual defensive partner Liam Cooper.
The award was voted for by fans, and Jansson urged supporters… to cast their votes for Pablo Hernandez instead.
His plea fell on deaf ears, with supporters choosing Jansson to win the award.
Jansson will be in action for Leeds on Friday night against Derby County as they look to get back to winning ways.
He will be rejoined by Liam Cooper, who came through an under-23 game on Monday after a month on the sidelines.
Leeds are top of the table by two points, but have lost their last two league games and the following FA Cup match to make it three defeats in succession.
