Leeds United centre-back Pontus Jansson has been talking to LUTV today about his time at the club so far.
The Swedish international joined Leeds on loan from Torino in the summer and has certainly impressed during his early months with the club.
His form so far has been very impressive and he has already made himself a firm fan favourite in the eyes of the Leeds United faithful with his committed and assured displays at the heart of the Leeds defence with fellow loanee Kyle Bartley.
He missed the recent EFL Cup win against Blackburn Rovers with a bug but told LUTV he was feeling much better and that he hates missing games for the club:
“I want to play in every game. I want to have the feeling of momentum of the team.
“Of course I want to play every game so was really sad I missed that game.”

He then went on to speak about his start to life at Leeds, insisting the performance of the team is more important than his individual displays:
“Yes I have had a really good start. But the most important thing for me is that the team play good and the team win the games.
“If I play good also that’s a bonus. For me I always put the team first.”
Jansson has immediately won over the Leeds fans and his most recent comments are further proof of his likeable character at Elland Road.
If he can keep up his good performances as well, then Leeds United fans will only grow more and more fond of the big Swede.
