Leeds United took a commendable four points from their back-to-back away games over the past week.

Whites defender Kyle Bartley sat down for an exclusive interview with the club’s official website, and shared his delight at the prospect of returning to Elland Road on Saturday, after two consecutive away games in the Championship.
Leeds took four points from their matches against Birmingham City and Fulham, although the players and fans were left with a bitter taste in their mouths after conceding a 95th minute equaliser against the Cottagers on Tuesday night.
They are still in a very strong position, however, currently occupying fourth spot in the table, and hold an eight point advantage over seventh placed Fulham, so a place inside the play-off spots looks highly likely as things stand.
And Bartley explained how he and his teammates are looking forward to playing at home again, as they prepare to welcome Queens Park Rangers to Elland Road tomorrow, as quoted by LUTV:
Leeds’ Kyle Bartley
“It will be nice to get back home at Elland Road. After two away games and some tough travelling, we can look back and think we were quite successful in getting four points. And I think any Championship game away from home is going to be difficult especially coming at the back end of the season. So getting back home, we are quite positive and confident of getting three points.”
Garry Monk’s side will have to continue to show the levels of intensity that they have displayed throughout the course of the season so far, however, if they are to have any chance of gaining promotion to the Premier League.
And with games against Brighton and Hove Albion and Reading following tomorrow’s fixture against QPR, things won’t get any easier for Leeds.
