Leeds United midfielder continued his strong form despite loss to Blackburn.

Leeds United’s return to action after the international break did not go at all as planned.
A 2-1 defeat to Blackburn Rovers was a missed opportunity for the Whites as teams around them in the table also slipped up.
One player who shone despite Leeds’ loss was midfielder Mateusz Klich.
Klich, 28, is enjoying a fantastic season so far and scored the Whites’ goal at Ewood Park. But his performance offered so much more.
The Poland international midfielder was involved throughout and managed more touches than any midfielder on the pitch.
Klich made 90 touches, with Blackburn’s Corry Evans closest among the opposition with 49.

He was effective too, completed 84 per cent of his passes and creating one goalscoring chance.
Klich had three shots on target from four attempts, testing the goalkeeper more than any other player at Ewood managed to do.
Defensively he got stuck in too. Klich made a team high four tackles, and was the only Leeds midfielder to make an interception.
Klich will need to maintain this level of performance if Leeds are to recover their form, and his teammates will have to raise their games.
