Another social media faux pas from Leeds United midfielder Mateusz Klich?

Leeds United midfielder Mateusz Klich has defended himself after an online post related to Manchester United caused a backlash.
The midfielder has had a tough time since joining Leeds from FC Twente, and has started just one Championship game.

Klich was not even on the bench this weekend as the Whites won 3-1 at QPR, surely an increasingly frustrating situation for the Poland international.
He insisted though there was nothing untowards about a post on his Instagram story feed yesterday, featuring him watching the Manchester United v Manchester City game, branding it ‘real football’.
Klich was called out for this by fans, but insisted his intention was not to praise Leeds’ traditional rivals Manchester United.
An ill-thought out message clearly, but one with no malice towards his current employers it would seem.
Klich is running out of time to be granted an opportunity at Leeds ahead of the transfer window, and if this continues, he could not be blamed for seeking a January exit.
But Pawel Cibicki’s season turned around in an instant this weekend, and Klich’s fortunes could easily change quickly if given an opportunity.
He just needs to think a bit more carefully about his social media posts and not do anything to cause criticism to come his way.
