Leeds United striker Eddie Nketiah came off the bench in a stalemate.

For so long Marcelo Bielsa’s argument in favour of Patrick Bamford over Eddie Nketiah has been that the former offers more apart from simply scoring goals.
Both players got 45 minutes on Saturday against Sheffield Wednesday, with Arsenal loanee Nketiah coming off the bench at half-time.
While the game at Hillsborough ended 0-0, Nketiah may have done enough to convince Bielsa that he should now be Leeds’ starter.
His overall contribution was superior to Bamford.
Nketiah created two goalscoring chances, while defensively he made one clearance and one tackle.
Bamford contributed no chances created, no tackles, and no clearances.
On a day where there were no goals for either side, Nketiah’s effort had to impress Bielsa.
Bielsa had made very clear in the build up to the match that he still felt Nketiah’s overall contribution was inferior to Bamford.
He answered his manager with the effort he put in against Sheffield Wednesday.
This could be a breakthrough for Nketiah in his efforts to win over Bielsa.
