Leeds United are said to be interested in centre-back Jon Egan of Brentford.

Leeds are in the process of sorting out their squad for next season, and Egan is said to be on their radar.
Whether Leeds will actually make a bid for the centre-back remains to be seen, but if they did bring him to Elland Road, then they would become a major threat from set-pieces.

Egan would, most likely, be partnered with Pontus Jansson if he was to arrive at Leeds, and the pair’s aerial threat would mean the Whites would have good options from set-pieces.
Jansson has scored three goals in both of the last two seasons, while Egan has netted 10 times in the past two campaigns.

Partnering the duo up would also mean that opposition sides would have to guess where Leeds’ free-kicks and corners were being aimed, as the two centre-backs are so good in the air.
And if Leeds could become a bigger threat from set-pieces next term, then that could be one the marginal improvements they need to make to start pushing for the play offs.
