Leeds United should look at signing Cameron John on loan from Wolverhampton Wanderers in the January transfer window.

It has been reported that John has impressed scouts from Premier League teams with his performances for the Wolves Under-23 side.
The 18-year-old defender is claimed to have played well for the Wolves U23 side against their Newcastle United counterparts and kept striker Dwight Gayle quiet in a 1-0 win.

John is a central defender who can also operate as a left-back, and Leeds United should at least take a look at him.
Wolves may not be willing to sell a player of John’s quality to a direct Championship rival, but Leeds should explore the option of making a loan offer.
The West Yorkshire outfit are struggling in that department. Manchester United-owned Cameron Borthwick-Jackson has failed to show that he can make the left-back position his own, while Vurnon Anita and Stuart Dallas’s stints in that position have yielded mixed results.

John has shown what he is capable of for the Wolves Under-23 side, and he has the talent to step up and play competitive football.
Signing the teenager on loan in January until the end of the season would be a good idea for Leeds.
