Should Leeds United move for the linked-away Celtic man?
According to The Scottish Sun, Besiktas are plotting a move for out-of-favour Celtic defender Erik Sviatchenko.
The Danish centre-back is behind Jozo Simunovic and Dedryck Boyata in the pecking order under Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers.
And although Besiktas are keen, The Scottish Sun goes on to claim that the 25-year-old wants a move to the Premier League but Leeds United should have a go.

Of course, Leeds are not in the Premier League but recruiting Sviatchenko would strengthen their hopes of winning promotion to the top flight next season.
The Whites need another centre-back. Matthew Pennington has been recruited but it was reported by The Yorkshire Evening Post this month that the Championship club want two central defenders, with Liam Cooper and Pontus Jansson also options.
Would he join Leeds? He might. Sviatchenko may want a Premier League move but this is no Virgil van Dijk. If he isn’t getting his game for Celtic then it is hard to imagine him playing regularly for a top-flight club down South at the moment.
With Jansson and Pennington at Elland Road, he may not even play regularly at United, but he would provide much better competition for the Everton loanee than somebody like Cooper would at the minute.
If he isn’t too expensive then the Championship side should certainly explore the possibility of bringing him to Yorkshire.
