According to a report in The Daily Record, Rangers are open to selling Barrie McKay in the summer transfer window.

The 22-year-old winger is among a number of players who is on manager Pedro Caixinha’s list to be sold by the Gers in the summer, according to the report.

The Daily Record has also claimed that Rangers want £2 million as transfer fee in order to part company with the Scotland international.

If indeed Rangers are open to parting company with McKay, then Leeds should make a move. A transfer fee of £2 million could prove to be a bargain.

Stuart Dallas is still a good player, but the Northern Ireland international winger did not have a great 2016-17 campaign.

While the 26-year-old, who can also operate as an attacking midfielder, will be important for the Whites next season, signing McKay would be a great idea and would enhance the Whites’ chances of finishing in the Championship playoffs.

The 22-year-old is a very talented and promising young winger, and he played well for Rangers this past season.

The (reported) price-tag of the Scotland international is only £2m, and Leeds should be willing to spend that in order to secure the services of the youngster.
