Leeds United need to strengthen their defensive options, following Kyle Bartley’s departure from Elland Road.
Forgotten Chelsea man Michael Hector should be on Leeds United’s radar this summer, as new boss Thomas Christiansen looks to improve his defensive options at Elland Road.
Hector moved to Chelsea from Reading back in 2015, after impressing at Reading.
However, he spent last season out on loan at Eintracht Frankfurt and is yet to make an appearance at Stamford Bridge.
Sky Sports suggest that Hector will be made available for loan again this summer, and he could fit in very well at Leeds.
The powerful centre-back is already a proven star at Championship level, after showing his quality at Reading in his younger years.
Hector is now 24, and should have progressed even more as a player after spending a year in Germany.
Blessed with pace, power and a natural ability in possession, Hector has all the tools to be a stand out centre-back in modern day football.
And with Chelsea seemingly willing to loan the England youth international out again, he could be an excellent option for Leeds to pursue, as they look to replace Kyle Bartley.
