Leeds United should attempt to bring in Kieffer Moore at the next available opportunity.

Leeds United should consider making a move for Kieffer Moore in the January transfer window, after Ipswich Town boss Mick McCarthy admitted he would be open to selling the target-man.

Moore has been a revelation on loan at Rotherham United in League One this season, where he has netted 13 times in 18 games.

The powerful forward has been a nightmare for defenders to mark, and currently is the leading scorer in England.

McCarthy has told the Sheffield Star that Ipswich would consider selling Moore, if they received a big offer in January.

And Leeds should consider meeting Ipswich’s asking price for the 25-year-old.

Leeds clearly need some added fire power, if they are to achieve their aim of promotion this season, and Moore would provide them with a different outlet.

Although he is not the most mobile of forwards, Moore is capable of bringing others into play and he clearly knows where the net is.

With Leeds’ results taking a turn for the worse recently, Moore could be the in-form man required to break them out of their slump, and Thomas Christiansen should give serious consideration to making an offer for the forward.
