Newcastle United goalkeeper Rob Elliot should be on the radar of Leeds United for January transfer.

With Jamal Blackman having returned to Chelsea, Leeds United do need to sign a goalkeeper in the January transfer window.
Injury to Bailey Peacock-Farrell has forced Marcelo Bielsa to push Will Huffer and Kamil Miazek into the first team, and the Leeds head coach will have to consider signing an established goalkeeper in January who will push the 22-year-old Northern Ireland international and perhaps even displace him.
Enter Rob Elliot.
The Republic of Ireland international goalkeeper is struggling for playing time at Newcastle at the moment.
Newcastle manager Rafael Benitez himself has suggested to The Chronicle that the 32-year-old could leave the Magpies in the January transfer window, and Leeds should make a move.

The former Charlton Athletic star is a very good goalkeeper who will be a strong competitor for the number one spot between the posts.
Elliot – who earns £25,000 per week as salary, according to Spotrac.com – himself could be tempted to move to Leeds, who are challenging for automatic promotion to the Premier League at the end of the season.
