Everton attacking midfielder Kieran Dowell would be a good loan signing for Leeds United in the January transfer window.

With Samuel Saiz set to leave for Getafe on loan in the January transfer window, Leeds United need to sign a replacement, and the Championship club should look at Kieran Dowell of Everton.

Dowell is a very good and creative midfielder who was relatively successful during his loan spell at Nottingham Forest last season.

The 21-year-old attacking midfielder made 31 starts and seven substitute appearances in the Championship for the Reds during the 2017-18 campaign, scoring nine goals and providing four assists in the process, according to WhoScored.

The England Under-21 international is struggling for playing time at Everton at the moment, and Leeds should look to strike a loan deal with the Merseyside outfit.

With Leeds challenging for automatic promotion to the Premier League, Marcelo Bielsa’s side have to sign a suitable replacement for Saiz.

Leeds may not get as good a player as the Spanish attacking midfielder in the middle of the season without spending a considerable amount of money in transfer fees.

it will be better for Leeds to bring in Dowell on a short-term deal, especially as the youngster knows the Championship well.
