Leeds United lost their manager earlier this month, with Garry Monk deciding he would not be staying around as the manager at Elland Road.
He has since gone on to become the new manager at Middlesbrough and is now being linked with a host of potential new signings.

One such player is Aiden McGeady. The Everton winger had a successful loan spell at Sheffield Wednesday last season and is now being linked with Boro – the Irish Independent reporting he is wanted by Monk.
Leeds United should do their utmost to hijack any deal.

Leeds need a player of McGeady’s quality out wide and, in the past, they have been linked with a move for the Irish international – who is surplus to requirements at Goodison Park.
His wing-play would be highly appreciated among the Elland Road faithful and as well as bringing in a new player, they would be damaging their former gaffer. Whilst that alone is a good reason for Leeds to make a move for McGeady the fact remains Boro will be a promotion rival next campaign and Leeds need to have the quality to contend.
Leeds should be ready to challenge Monk for McGeady this month.
