Samir Nasri is on record as being a major fan of Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa.

Leeds United should consider moving for Samir Nasri following his release from West Ham United.
Nasri is currently on the verge of a move to Australia, according to Goal, but Leeds should look to hijack the deal.
Nasri’s wages, if he does move to the A-League would reportedly be under £40,000-a-week, and that should mean that Leeds could finance a move for the Frenchman, who is a major fan of Marcelo Bielsa.
Nasri is a footballing aficionado and his comments on Bielsa’s style surely suggest that a move to Leeds would appeal to him.
“I … I … it’s been a long, long time since I watched Marseille with that much pleasure,” he said to ESPN. “Seriously! I understand why everyone in Marseille was dying for Bielsa to stay, I now understand why he’s the idol of Pep Guardiola because the style of play, it’s just like … total football.
“They might have some weaknesses in defence, or tactically, because they press one versus one … everywhere! But the attacking style of play is just … amazing.”

Nasri showed with West Ham that he still has plenty to offer, even though he is 31, and he would be a wonderful addition to Leeds’ attack.
If Leeds could have Pablo Hernandez and Nasri working together in the same side then Bielsa would have the most creative midfield options in all of the Championship.
The pair could be devastating in the second tier, and if Leeds really are serious about promotion then Nasri is exactly the calibre of player that they should consider bringing to Elland Road this summer, especially as he now looks like an affordable option.
