The Arsenal youngster could do a job at Leeds United.
Leeds United fans may look at the impact Tammy Abraham has made at Bristol City this season and question why the Whites did not make a loan bid of their own, but rather than look back at missed opportunities, the club should already be planning moves for the next big thing.
One such player could be Arsenal’s Reiss Nelson, who may only be 17 but who possesses the innate talent and goal-scoring ability to take Elland Road by storm were he to arrive on loan.
Much will depend on what league Leeds find themselves in next season, with a return to the top tier likely to see an attempt at signing ready-made stars rather than the next generation of talent. However they should already be casting an eye on a player Arsenal will surely be keen to see get some senior action.
Nelson made headlines last summer when he scored nine goals in 10 games for England at the European Under-17 Championship and he was recently placed at number 12 in HITC Sport’s Top 50 teenagers in English football, just three places below Leeds’ own Ronaldo Vieira.
Leeds boss Garry Monk has proved adept when it comes to the loan market, and having seen what Abraham did this season he should consider signing a London-based teenage goal-scorer of his own.

Nelson is predominantly a right winger but he can operate in a whole host of positions, including as an attacking midfielder, a striker and on the opposite flank.
In short, despite his age he could add considerable goal threat to a Leeds side over reliant on Chris Wood, and thrive under a manager never afraid to give youth a chance.
