Leeds United reportedly want Marcelo Bielsa as their new head coach.

Leeds United fans must be excited at the prospect of Marcelo Bielsa becoming the club’s new head coach.
According to The Yorkshire Evening Post, Leeds are interested in appointing Bielsa as their head coach following the departure of Paul Heckingbottom.
The Argentine is one of the most notable managers out there, and it would be quite a coup for the Whites if they are able to secure their services.

However, Leeds fans should be wary that things may not end pretty with Bielsa and could turn ugly.
The 62-year-old resigned from his managerial role at Marseille just one game into the 2015-16 season.
The Argentine’s spell was very short at Lazio. Appointed the manager of the Italian club on July 6 2016, Bielsa stepped down from his role after just two days – yes, after only two days.

Bielsa arrived at Lille in the summer of 2017, but he was gone in mid-December 2017, having also been suspended for over three weeks, as reported by Goal.com.
There is a pattern here – disagreement with the clubs’ boards have seen Bielsa step down quite abruptly. Could the same thing happen at Elland Road?
While Leeds fans should be looking forward to having Bielsa as their head coach, they should expect the ride to be very interesting and intriguing.
