Leeds United reportedly wanted to sign Jarrod Bowen from Hull City in the summer transfer window.

Hull City manager Nigel Adkins has admitted to BBC Sport that Jarrod Bowen could leave in the January transfer window, and that should be of interest to Leeds United.
Speaking after Hull’s 3-2 victory over Queens Park Rangers away from home at Loftus Road in the Championship at the weekend, Adkins told BBC Sport when asked about the possibility of Bowen leaving in January: “Who knows what will happen? I’d love him to go to the very, very top, but I want him to go the top with Hull City.”
Bowen scored twice for Hull against QPR to his tally to six for the season in the Championship.
Back in June 2018, a report in The Yorkshire Evening Post claimed that Leeds were interested in Bowen, who was claimed to be rated at £4.5 million (click here to read more).
The 21-year-old, who can operate as a forward or as a winger, is playing well for Hull at the moment and has provided two assists in the league so far this campaign.

With Hull in danger of getting relegated to League One and Adkins admitting uncertainty over the future of the former Hereford United prospect, Leeds should take another shot at signing the 21-year-old.
After all, with Leeds challenging for automatic promotion to the Premier League, they do need depth in their squad.
Bowen’s versatility to play as a forward or as a winger will make Bielsa’s team better, and given his current form and experience in the Championship, the 21-year-old would not need any time to adapt to the second tier of English football and would be in a position to make an instant impact.
