Leeds United scouted Shakhtar Donetsk against Celtic last night amid lofty links with a move for winger Mykhaylo Mudryk.
The Whites are in dire straits right now after four Premier League defeats in a row.
It’s now just two points in the last eight games for Leeds and boss Jesse Marsch finds himself under huge pressure.
Whether the American keeps his job or not, Leeds will need to invest again in January with attacking signings needed.

Leeds United scouted Shakhtar Donetsk
A striker would be ideal for Leeds but they have also been linked with another winger.
90Min reported in September that Leeds had sent scouts to Hampden Park to watch Ukraine against Scotland.
It was understood that the reason was to see Shakhtar winger Mykhaylo Mudryk.
Mudryk has been sensational this season and continued that on Tuesday night.
The 21-year-old wide man scored a superb goal against Celtic, earning Shakhtar a 1-1 draw with a fine run and finish.
Mudryk is so quick and direct but appears to have the end product to go along with the exciting approach play.
In 11 appearances across all competitions this season, Mudryk has notched six goals and seven assists.
What’s interesting now is that The Scotsman claim that Leeds sent a scout to watch Shakhtar against Celtic on Tuesday.
However, it’s already starting to feel like Mudryk is beyond Leeds having made such an enormous impact in the Champions League.
Europe’s elite will now be all over Mudryk and Shakhtar will be hiking up that asking price every time he scores.
Leeds would surely be looking at upwards of £35million for Mudryk in 2023 and that just doesn’t seem like the way to use funds when Jack Harrison and Luis Sinisterra are already at the club.
Leeds may end up seeing Mudryk join a Premier League rival instead and that may sting a little having seemingly scouted him on numerous occasions now.
