Leeds United are expected to be reunited with Stephen McPhail in the pre-season.
Leeds United finally announced their pre-season tour yesterday, detailing plans for two friendly matches in Ireland.
The Whites will face both Shamrock Rovers and Shelbourne, their official website confirms, and the match against the former could provide the scene for a notable reunion.
A potential name in the Shamrock Rovers XI is former Leeds United academy graduate and ex-Premier League star Stephen McPhail.

McPhail is now 36-years-old and is under contract at the club until December 2016, having signed for the club in 2014.
The veteran was once a fresh faced midfielder who broke into the Leeds United first team as a teenager, becoming part of one of their most memorable sides under David O’Leary.
McPhail featured in European matches against the likes of Roma and Barcelona, having made his debut for the Whites back in 2008.

He left for Barnsley back in 2004 before spending seven years at Cardiff City. This was followed by a brief spell at Sheffield Wednesday, before he signed with Shamrock Rovers.

McPhail is not a regular in Rovers’ XI, but has a good chance of featuring in the friendly with Leeds. Shamrock are likely to offer a competitive encounter but could rotate their side because they have a Europa League qualifying match to play against Finnish side Rovaniemi on June 30.
Getting the chance to face Leeds again will surely be a personal highlight as he wraps up a career which little did he know it at the time, may have peaked during his time with the Whites.
