Leeds United fired in eight shots on target during their 1-1 draw with Fulham on Wednesday.

Steve Evans has had less than a week as Leeds United manager, but his impact on the team has already been noticeable.

Leeds took on Fulham at Craven Cottage last night, and they picked up a 1-1 draw after putting in a very credible performance.

The Whites set-up in a 4-4-2 formation, and the changes that Evans made appeared to give them more of an attacking threat.

Leeds had more shots on target (eight) in their game against Fulham than they have in any other match this season.

Under Uwe Rosler, Leeds never managed to have more than six attempts on goal in a single fixture, and Evans will have to take huge encouragement from their improvement in his department already.

Indeed, the main reason Leeds didn’t claim all three points against Fulham was down the quality of the host’s goalkeeper, Joe Lewis, who pulled off a number of excellent saves.

Leeds travel to Bolton Wanderers next time out, and Evans will hope to see his attacking players in similarly creative form, as he chases his first victory since taking charge at Elland Road.
