The Leeds United pair look to have very bright futures at Elland Road.

Leeds United scout Jay Smith has taken to Twitter to post a picture of young duo Ronaldo Vieira and Tyler Denton.

The former has been selected as part of England’s under-20 squad for this summer’s Toulon Tournament and Smith was quick to wish him luck, going on to suggest that he is already on the look out for players like the exciting young midfielder and the promising left-back.

Vieira burst onto the scene this season, featuring 38 times in all competitions, and if he continues on his current trajectory he is going to be a superstar for club and country in the years ahead.

At 21, Denton may be three years older but he has had to be more patient, managing just three cup appearances for Leeds in the face of strong competition for places.

Denton competed with Gaetano Berardi and Charlie Taylor for a starting spot this season and given that pair’s talent and experience it was no surprise the youngster struggled for recognition.

However, with Taylor set to depart Leeds this summer Denton may get more opportunities depending on how manager Garry Monk deals with the imminent gap in his squad.

Leeds narrowly missed out on a play-off place this year and it is now up to the manager and the board to ensure the club has the players capable of pushing them that bit further in 2018, finally getting them back to the top flight after far too long away.
