The Whites academy star, 17, helped the Under-23s win the Professional Development League North title this week.

Leeds United academy star Ryan Edmondson has spoken of how it feels to have Carlos Corberan and Marcelo Bielsa as coaches at the club.
The Whites are having an impressive season at both senior and reserve level, with promotion from the Championship still very much on the table for the former under the coaching of the Argentine.
As for the latter, the Under-23s won the Professional Development League North title just this week, a 2-0 win at Colchester United – Edmondson with the goals – making it mission complete.
Corberan joined Leeds in the summer of 2017 (official site), while Bielsa arrived to take the Elland Road senior reins a year later, and both men have certainly impressed in their respective jobs.
Speaking about both the senior setup – having made two Championship appearances this term – and the academy setup, Edmondson gave an insight into both, explaining what makes them so impressive both in terms of the squad and also personal development.

“With the gaffer coming in he’s given us a completely different identity which teams haven’t been able to cope with,” the 17-year-old told the Yorkshire Evening Post. “It’s given us that real intensity and quality within our game. The personal work I’ve done with Carlos in training too has really developed me as a player.
“The development of myself from last year to this year, I think I can thank him massively for that. Obviously still being young and being able to train with the gaffer and Carlos is a great honour and it really does push me as a player. Hopefully I can keep improving and make that step up.”
On Friday, Leeds U23s meet Burnley, who second in PDL North, in the quarter-finals of the Premier League Cup, another trophy that Corberan and his charges will realistically fancy their chances of lifting.
