Leeds United teenager makes plea to supporters.
Leeds United’s Ronaldo Vieira celebrates after the match
Leeds United teenager Ronaldo Vieira has made a plea to fans not to give up on the team after their latest setback.
The Whites lost 2-0 at Brentford on Tuesday evening, just days after a 1-0 loss at Reading.
They remain in fifth place but dreams of automatic promotion are gone, and Leeds instead are left worried about clinching a play-off spot.
Vieira did not start in the Brentford loss and could come back into the team this weekend against eighth placed Preston.
He re-affirmed his belief in his side and attempted to gee supporters up.
Before the international break Leeds had looked like hitting form, beating Brighton and Hove Albion 2-0 at Elland Road.
The game against Preston is their first home game since, and they will hope the comforts of playing at home will give them the boost they need to get back on track.
Leeds will need the support to act like a 12th man this weekend to give them a boost, but could do with netting early to quell the increasing doubts of the crowd.
