Pablo Hernandez’s current contract with Leeds United runs out at the end of the season.

It has been reported that Leeds are locked in talks with Hernandez over a new deal and are set on agreeing to his demands.
The 32-year-old, who can operate as an attacking midfielder or as a winger, is out of contract at the West Yorkshire outfit at the end of the season.

Smart decision
Hernandez will turn 33 this week, but there is no doubt that the Spaniard is one of the best players in the Championship and is a key figure in the Leeds team.
Handing the former Swansea City and Valencia star a new deal would be a smart move from Leeds.
The Spaniard has shown what he is capable of in the Championship and continues to produced the goods for the Whites.

The 32-year-old has scored seven goals and provided eight assists in 30 Championship starts for Leeds so far this season.
According to The Yorkshire Evening Post, the attacking midfielder has scored three goals and provided four assists in his last nine appearances for the Whites.
Leeds will be aiming to challenge for the Championship playoffs next season, and having Hernandez in the team will enhance their chances of doing just that.
