Aston Villa are reported to be interested in Leeds United’s Kalvin Phillips.

It has been claimed that Phillips has two more years left on his current contract at Leeds.
The Championship club have reportedly made an offer to the central midfielder to keep him at Elland Road and stop him from joining promoted Premier League club Villa.

Phillips is one of the best and most promising young central midfielders in the Championship, and it is smart of Leeds to have reportedly offered him a new contract.

The 23-year-old, who also operated as a central defender on occasions under head coach Marcelo Bielsa last season, will be an important figure in Leeds’s quest to finish in the top six of the Championship table next season.
According to WhoScored, Phillips made 44 appearances in the Championship for Leeds last season, scoring one goal and providing three assists in the process.
