Leeds United signed some considerable talent over the summer, with internationals Robin Koch, Diego Llorente and Rodrigo Moreno all arriving.

Add in the exciting capture of Brazilian winger Raphinha, and Leeds look to have done some great work in the transfer market.

They haven’t just focused on first-team additions though. They have also taken a look to the future by bringing in a whole host of young talents.

Crysencio Summerville, Joe Gelhardt, Cody Drameh and Charlie Allen are just some of the young players who have joined Leeds, but Sam Greenwood may be the most exciting.

Formerly of Sunderland, Greenwood joined Arsenal in 2018, but decided to leave for Leeds over the summer in deal worth up to £3million.

The 18-year-old striker has made a blistering start to life at Elland Road, smashing four goals in just three Premier League 2 games for Leeds.

Greenwood looks set for a huge future, and his progress was rewarded on Monday by winning PL2 Player of the Month award for September.

Leeds fan took to Twitter to hail Greenwood, branding him a ‘fantastic prospect’, ‘some player’ and a ‘natural born goalscorer’.

Some backed him for a ‘meteoric rise’ under Marcelo Bielsa, whilst a number of fans thanked Arsenal for their ‘strange decision’ to let Greenwood leave.
