Leeds United kept up their position at the top of the Championship.

Leeds United earned an impressive home victory over Preston North End this evening.
An early goal from captain Liam Cooper opened the scoring, before Tyler Roberts scored his first ever competitive goal for the Whites, and then scored another minutes later.
Pundit Noel Whelan told BBC Radio Leeds after the game he was impressed with the side’s performance.
Whelan said: “Everyone’s got value for money this evening, they have all season. It’s fantastic.
“The way they go about their jobs, its like a steamrolling train which can’t be stopped at the moment.”
The win keeps Leeds at the top of the Championship table and extends their lead, with Middlesbrough set to play tomorrow night.

Leeds are still unbeaten in the league to start the season through eight games.
The team’s only loss came at home to Preston in the Carabao Cup, which served as a threat ahead of tonight’s game.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side were better prepared this time, with Preston sitting down in a lowly 23rd place in the table.
