Leeds United travel to North London this afternoon as they take on Tottenham Hotspur, going in search of just a third league win this season.

The Whites drew 1-1 with Leicester City last time out, and really need to kick on ahead of the busy festive period.

Marcelo Bielsa’s men lost 3-0 away at Tottenham on January 2nd earlier this year, and will be looking to show some improvement.

Bielsa will have to get the better of another master tactician in Antonio Conte, and here’s how he could line up today…

Illan Meslier is one of the top young goalkeepers around and should keep his place between the sticks for Leeds.

With Tottenham playing three up top, Bielsa could play a four-man defence in order to have the extra man he likes so much.

That would mean Liam Cooper and Diego Llorente as the centre backs, with Stuart Dallas at right back.

Junior Firpo appears to be back from injury but may miss out to at left back to Dutch defender Pascal Struijk.

Struijk playing there was an experiment against Leicester that actually worked well, so Bielsa could stick with it today.

Kalvin Phillips can then anchor the midfield, whilst Adam Forshaw’s impressive form means he can join in the engine room.

Raphinha has been rushed back from South America to be involved in this game, and he should join Rodrigo and Jack Harrison in attacking roles.

It would be a gamble to play Daniel James up top against Tottenham, but Leeds were so impressive against Leicester last time out that Bielsa may simply go with the same team.

Leeds predicted XI: Meslier; Dallas, Llorente, Cooper, Struijk; Phillips, Forshaw; Raphinha, Rodrigo, Harrison; James.
