Leeds United claimed bragging rights on Sunday afternoon as they beat Yorkshire rivals Sheffield United 1-0 at Bramall Lane.

Having claimed a 4-3 home win over Fulham last weekend, Leeds were looking for success on the road – and this one was dramatic in a different way.

It wasn’t quite the goal glut of the past two games, but there was late drama as Patrick Bamford headed home Jack Harrison’s cross to win the game.

That’s Leeds’ first clean sheet in the top flight, and Marcelo Bielsa’s men sit sixth in the Premier League table after three games.

Leeds player were unsurprisingly in buoyant mood after Bamford’s late winner, and took to Twitter to celebrate.

Liam Cooper celebrated his 200th appearance for Leeds, with Stuart Dallas and Ezgjan Alioski congratulating him on his achievement.

Ian Carlo Poveda was delighted to make his Premier League debut, whilst Mateusz Klich and Robin Koch celebrated a big three points.
