Leeds United player Tyler Roberts has responded to Kemar Roofe’s post on Instagram after the Rangers striker scored at Ibrox.

Former Leeds striker Roofe scored for Rangers in their 2-0 win against Kilmarnock at Ibrox in the Scottish Premiership on Saturday afternoon.

The 27-year-old striker found the net in the 50th minute, and he has taken to Instagram to revel in the victory.

Roberts played with Roofe at Leeds, and the 21-year-old – who can operate as a striker, winger or attacking midfielder – has responded to the former West Bromwich Albion man’s post on Instagram.

Roberts responded: “Bagsman back at it”

Good signing for Rangers

Roofe was a success at Leeds, but the striker had injury problems at Anderlecht last season.

However, the 27-year-old is a very good striker who will play an important role for Rangers in their quest to win the Scottish Premiership title this season.

According to WhoScored, Roofe has made one start and two substitute appearances in the Scottish Premiership for the Gers so far this season, scoring one goal in the process.

Rangers are at the top of the Scottish Premiership table at the moment with 13 points from five matches.
