We rate Leeds United’s players’ performances during their 2-1 defeat to Peterborough United yesterday.

Robert Green

Rob Green – 6

Nothing he could do about either of Peterborough’s goals. Did flap at one cross in the first half, but wasn’t punished.

Alex Purver – 6

Generally did well, without particularly catching the eye.

Kyle Bartley – 6

Swansea's Kyle Bartley looks dejected at the end of the game

Looked fairly assured in defence. Bartley’s ability in possession was clear to see.

Sol Bamba – 6

One nervy moment almost allowed Shaquille Coulthirst to score, but he looked fairly sharp.

Charlie Taylor – 7

Some notable pieces of defending, and he also overlapped well with Kemar Roofe.

Luke Murphy – 5

Didn’t really get involved in the match. Lacked the drive of his fellow midfielders.

Matt Grimes – 7

Blackburn Rovers' Matt Grimes

An assured performance from the Swansea City loanee, who proved his worth.

Alex Mowatt – 7

Mowatt was a constant threat in the first half, and finished well for the first goal. The youngster looks much better in a central role. Tired slightly in the second half.

Kemar Roofe – 8

Man of the match. Roofe caused Peterborough’s defence a whole host of problems in the opening 45 minutes. He was quick, skilful and intelligent in possession. A very bright showing.

Hadi Sacko – 7

Sacko’s pace was clear for all to see, but he lacked an end product at times.

Marcus Antonsson – 7

The Swede linked the play up nicely up-front. Was unlucky not to find the back of the net twice.

Substitute:

Jack McKay – 6

One moment of skill caught the eye, in a generally solid display.
