Leeds United central defender Diego Llorente has taken to Instagram to give his reaction to his side’s defeat to Aston Villa.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side went down 1-0 to Villa at Elland Road in the Premier League on Saturday evening.
Anwar El Ghazi’s goal in the opening minutes of the match proved to be the difference between the two sides.
Llorente played well for Leeds and showed what he is capable of, with the Spain international defender having had injury and fitness issues this season.
Against Villa on Saturday evening, the 27-year-old took one shot which was on target, played one key pass, had a pass accuracy of 86.9%, won three headers, took 72 touches, and made four tackles and one interception, according to WhoScored.
Meanwhile, former Arsenal and Villa star Paul Merson has said that Bielsa will stay at Leeds beyond the end of the season.
The Argentine coach is out of contract at the Premier League club in the summer of 2021.

Bielsa has been in charge of Leeds since the summer of 2018 and guided the club to promotion from the Championship at the end of last season.
Merson said on Sky Sports News (12:26pm, February 27, 2021): “Yeah, 100%, 100%. He gets paid good money, he’s watching a good football team and he’s got very enthusiastic young lads there who want to sit and listen and work in his way.”
