Leeds United have slipped down to 12th place in the Championship table.

Andrea Radrizzani said just a few days ago on Twitter that Leeds United’s squad this season is stronger than last year’s, but those comments look very questionable now.
Leeds’ slim chances of making the top six were surely ended on Friday evening, when they lost to Middlesbrough.
Leeds were battered at the Riverside Stadium, with Tony Pulis’ side running out 3-0 winners.
The Whites have now slipped back to 12th place in the Championship table, which shows a clear regression from last term.

At this stage last campaign, Leeds were looking to be in a commanding position for the play offs, before a late season collapse ruined their chances.
After 35 games, Leeds were sat in fourth place in the Championship table, and they had 15 more points than they have accumulated this time around.
The Whites also had the likes of Rob Green, Kyle Bartley and Chris Wood in their line-up, and the trio all look considerably better than their replacements.
And Radrizzani’s comments about Leeds having a better squad this season than last time out look totally misguided now.
