The Scottish attacker has been in good form recently at his loan club.

Leeds United boss Garry Monk decided last summer that Lee Erwin would benefit from spending more time out on loan. The Scottish attacker was therefore loaned out to Oldham Athletic in July.
Erwin, who failed to score for the entirety of last season after joining Leeds from Motherwell on a free transfer, initially found it hard to settle at Boundary Park.
But he found his form under new manager John Sheridan at Oldham and went on to score 10 goals in 40 appearances this season. This week, after winning the goal of the season award at Oldham, he told the club’s official website:
“In the first half of the season I couldn’t buy a goal, but in the last two months I’ve done well so it’s great to come away as the club’s top goalscorer.”

Erwin has clearly enjoyed his spell at Oldham, but it has probably not done enough to convince Leeds to keep him on board again next term.
Leeds do look to be in the Championship again next term but with 10 goals in 40 appearances in League One, the Scot has hardly done enough to prove himself worthy of a place in the Leeds United first-team picture for next term.
He will hope to get a chance over pre-season to show he has what it takes to have a future at Leeds United after a difficult first two seasons at Elland Road.
