Leeds United youngster made under-23 debut this week.
Leeds United new boy Jordan Stevens was thrilled to make his debut for the under-23s on Monday night.
Stevens was signed from League Two side Forest Green Rovers on deadline day.
He has had to bide his time to get into a very competitive under-23 side and this week made his bow in a 3-2 win over Ipswich Town, coming on as a substitute.
Stevens sent a message expressing his excitement at managing to get on.
Leeds’ under-23s are now unbeaten in their last six games and they are offering fans more excitement and reason to be positive than the first team, who have won just one match in 2018.
This is just the first step for Stevens at Leeds, who is just 17-years-old.
Leeds have no need to rush him, and he must show he deserves to be a regular in the under-23 side.
If this time next season he is holding down a starting place and regularly impressing only then will he be able to start thinking about the first team.
