It has been a pretty dramatic summer for Leeds United, who have added some brilliant players to their squad and also made some surprising transfer decisions.

Pontus Jansson making the switch from Elland Road to Championship rivals Brentford was the one that was most talked about and understandably so.

Whilst Leeds added Brighton loanee Ben White to their ranks, Jansson’s departure indicated one clear message and that was that they need to replace the once-popular Whites man.

Trivenetogoal recently claimed that Leeds are interested in signing Inter Milan youngster Ryan Nolan, but they face competition from Brighton for his signature.

Whilst Nolan’s talent and potential would excite Leeds fans, he’s not what they need right now and it’s a risk they simply cannot take.

The Yorkshire club needs that experience, perhaps another leader type figure to walk through the doors of Elland Road before deadline day.

Whilst Leeds’ season has started in the best possible manner, a long season in the Championship tests everyone.

And in what is a gruelling campaign, Leeds need that experience, that extra added quality at the back because as they saw last season, it can prove to be costly to their promotion chances.
