Leeds United need a new striker this summer.

Leeds United need new faces up front this summer having failed to effectively replace last season’s top scorer Chris Wood.
The answer could lie with Wood’s Burnley teammate Nakhi Wells.
Wells has become a forgotten figure this season for the Clarets after they signed Wood.
He himself made a £5 million switch from Huddersfield Town after helping lead the Terriers to promotion, but he has barely figured.

Wells began the season with an injury and Burnley’s preference to go with Wood and Ashley Barnes have left him as the odd man out.
He may need some convincing to drop down to the Championship, but Wells can’t afford another season sat on the sidelines.
The former Bradford and Huddersfield attacker is certainly familiar with Yorkshire and would not need time to settle at Leeds.

The 27-year-old scored 10 times for Huddersfield last season and 18 the year before, and 14 in 2014/15.
He is yet to get off the mark for Burnley and his talents are currently being wasted.
Leeds need a proven striker with Championship experience and Wells fits the the bill. He might just be available, and the Whites have Chris Wood to thank for that.
