Leeds United target Marcus Maddison is finding his form.

Leeds United were one of the clubs prominently linked with signing Peterborough United winger Marcus Maddison in the transfer window [via Birmingham Mail].
Maddison had a turbulent summer, being transfer listed by his club, who wanted to cash in on a player who wanted to play at a higher level.
Peterborough’s asking price proved too high, and Maddison remained at the League One side.
Come January, it’s time for Leeds to push again to sign the player who could make the difference in their promotion push.
Maddison scored 12 times in all competitions last season, and has 42 for Peterborough across his four years for the club prior to this summer.
After a slow start this year, he is back in form. Yet to score, he has three assists in his last four matches for Steve Evans’ side.

If there is an area where Leeds need to improve, it is their wingers, currently relying on loanee Jack Harrison and the divisive Ezgjan Alioski.
Maddison would add another option, and he is the type of player who can break down defences with a moment of individual brilliance.
In recent games Leeds have lacked a cutting edge. Adding a player like Maddison could be the difference between finishing third where they currently stand, and inside the top two.
