Leeds have defensive troubles. Could a familiar face solve them?

Despite a clean sheet last night, Leeds United have real concerns in defence.
Matthew Pennington missed the game through injury and Conor Shaughnessy was stretchered off just five minutes in.
Meanwhile… former loanee Kyle Bartley was sat on the bench as Swansea City beat Arsenal in the Premier League.
Bartley was a fan favourite at Leeds last season, even earning the captaincy.

It is not too late for Leeds to make one last big attempt at trying to bring Bartley back – for the right price Swansea may accept.
Leeds currently have Liam Cooper out suspended while Pontus Jansson is one yellow card away from a two game ban.
Swansea have managed to keep hold of star defender Alfie Mawson, meaning Bartley is a high quality back-up at present.
Carlos Carvalhal may feel Swansea need this if they are to stay in the Premier League, but Leeds’ increasingly desperate situation means they should put this resolve to the test – whether permanently or on loan.
