Championship leaders Leeds United must explore a fresh option to sign winger Yannick Bolasie.

Bolasie is available after his loan at Aston Villa was cut short, with manager Dean Smith deciding he wanted to give more game time to other players.

Bolasie is now back at Everton, the club who paid £30 million to sign him from Crystal Palace.

The tricky winger is looking to reinvigorate his career after a serious knee injury.

His spell at Villa did not work out as he wanted, but Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds should look at a loan deal.

The Whites are clearly trying to sign a winger, having been linked with Swansea’s Dan James and Bristol City’s Callum O’Dowda, the Yorkshire Evening Post report.

Bolasie’s availability is a potential game changer.

The DR Congo international should jump at the chance to work under Marcelo Bielsa if presented with the opportunity.

Bolasie caused Leeds all kind of problems at Villa Park in the Whites’ dramatic 3-2 win last month. All-seeing Bielsa won’t have failed to notice him.

He would be an ideal player for Jack Clarke to learn from, and would really strengthen the Whites’ promotion hopes.
