Leeds United have been impressed with Michael Skubala’s tactical tweaks after taking interim charge of the club.
That’s according to The Guardian, who claim that Skubala has really impressed the Leeds hierarchy in his two games in charge.
Skubala’s tactical changes and his clarity when explaining his approach have gone down well with the Leeds decision-makers.
Leeds confirmed on Tuesday that Skubala will now be in charge until further notice as he continues to lead the team.
Skubala was promoted to interim boss last week following the sacking of Jesse Marsch.
Whilst he has only taken one point from two games, they were both against Manchester United and he had his side 2-0 up at Old Trafford.
The last couple of games under Skubala have at least seen Leeds have a real go and cause problems for the Red Devils.
Leeds seemingly have faith in Skubala to keep this going with his tactical ideas earning respect inside Elland Road.

Michael Skubala may be in charge of Leeds United until the summer
Skubala has a pretty interesting background given that he actually coached England’s futsal team between 2017 and 2021.
Now in charge of the Leeds Under-21’s, Skubala has risen quickly at Elland Road and the 40-year-old appears to have a bright future in coaching.
Leeds may end up being almost forced into leaving Skubala in charge until the summer window.
Leeds have targeted the likes of Andoni Iraola, Carlos Corberan and Arne Slot but they have all chosen to stay with their current clubs.
A deal for Alfred Schreuder has been scrapped too and it’s unclear just where Leeds can turn next.
Skubala is the man in the hot seat right now and with Leeds struggling to find a manager, he may well be charged with the task of keeping the Whites in the Premier League.
