Leeds United wanted Mergim Berisha over the summer and the striker has made a great start to life with new club Augsburg.
The Whites were in the market for a new striker over the summer but saw a couple of targets slip through the net.
Charles De Ketelaere joined AC Milan and Arnaud Kalimuendo headed to Rennes, whilst there was deadline day drama over Bamba Dieng.
In the end, Leeds went with Wilfried Gnonto as their new attacking addition before the transfer deadline, but one other rumoured target went elsewhere too.

Leeds United wanted Mergim Berisha
German striker Berisha emerged as a rumoured target thanks to links over in Turkey.
Yeni Şafak suggested that Leeds had made an approach to buy Berisha and Fenerbahce were willing to let him go.
Berisha followed a pattern of players featuring under Marsch and then reuniting at Elland Road.
Rasmus Kristensen, Tyler Adams and Brenden Aaronson had all played under Marsch in the past before following him to Leeds.
Striker Berisha played for Marsch at Red Bull Salzburg in Austria, racking up 22 goals in all competitions during his final season under Marsch.
The pair went their separate ways in 2021 but there were strong rumours suggesting that a reunion could be on the cards.
Instead, Berisha ended up completing a late loan move to Augsburg, returning to Germany with the Bundesliga club having an option to buy.
The 24-year-old has made an instant impact with Augsburg, recording an assist for their winner against Werder Bremen on September 9th.
Before the international break, Berisha then scored the only goal of the game as Augsburg beat Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich 1-0.
It looks like Berisha is primed for a big season in the Bundesliga and Augsburg will already be looking at that option to buy.
Leeds may keep tabs on Berisha but having missed out on a number of strikers, Marsch may feel the Whites missed out on a real talent in the 24-year-old.
